Coffeehouse – March 2025
What a varied evening we had, for our first coffeehouse in 5 years (thank-you pandemic). We had
- kids, demonstrating the height of cute and accomplishing
- parents, demonstrating where their budding abilities came from
- a Bob Newhart pantomime of The Driving Instructor
- an original piece performed by the composer and a singer based on a poem by Christina Rossetti (who wrote In The Bleak Midwinter)
- some Mozart
- a Chinese folk song
- some country music
- A reading “In the Owner’s Box”
- a sing-along song
- multi version of Don McLean’s Vincent
- a piece from a new musical about Lewis Carol
